3rd Annual LVC Homecoming Tailgating Party!!
Cuba HS will once again host a Tailgating party to celebrate homecoming. This party will take place from 6-8:30pm on Friday, September 19th at the Cuba HS football field. This party is open to high school students only, from Lewistown, Spoon River Valley, and Cuba. There will be food, music and yard games. Cuba FFA will be grilling up some pork chops, and other sides will be provided. Although we will have some soda on hand, we are asking students to bring their own drinks for the evening. School staff members will supervise. All coolers will be checked on the way in, and vehicles are subject to search. See you there!

Homecoming Parade Information
The line-up starts at 12:30 - 2:00. This year we are not giving parade participants a number, it will be line-up as you arrive. Also, with the Soldier & Sailors Reunion happening around the square, the parade route has been altered. It will leave the elementary lot, go down East Main Street, turn right on 2nd Street, right on Washington Street and end back at the elementary lot.
Thank you to our amazing National Honor Society and Cuba Community Volunteers.
On Friday, our dedicated volunteers helped prepare and distribute Buddy Bags for Cuba Elementary students. These bags provide extra meals/snacks for the weekend for our students who qualify. We are so grateful as this program wouldn’t be possible without the time and care of our volunteers! Thanks to National Honor Society Members Abriana Wells, Kalee Foster, Macy Eeten, Myleigh Strode, and Halee Krieger as well as to Cuba Community Members Monty & Marlynna McLaughry, Mark & Joellen Welch, Arlene Ford, Drema Parsons, and Sue McCance for putting together the bags this past Friday. The Buddy Bags Program is organized and coordinated by Carol Severt and funded through a grant and local donations. #WINTHEDAY #MAKETODAYCOUNT #BUDDYBAGS
