At this week’s Board of Education meeting, Mr. Georges, one of our talented Technology Specialists, led an engaging STEM presentation highlighting innovative learning opportunities in our district.
Joining him were students Luke Lindsey, Scarlett McLean, Cooper Sprecher, and Kelise Grimes, who did an outstanding job assisting with the presentation and demonstrating their skills in drone flying exercises! 🛩️
It was an impressive showcase of creativity, teamwork, and hands-on learning in action. Thank you, Mr. Georges and students, for representing our district with excellence and enthusiasm! 👏

Drake was recognized by the CUSD#3 Fulton County Board of Education at Monday night's meeting. We are proud to recognize Drake for an outstanding 2025 golf season marked by skill, dedication, and competitiveness.
This year, Drake earned Medalist honors (lowest score) in six multi-school matches, showcasing consistent top-level performance all season long. He also secured a 3rd Place finish at the Canton Classic 18-Hole Invitational, one of the area’s most competitive tournaments.
Capping off this remarkable season, Drake advanced through the State Sectional Tournament and went on to compete at the IHSA Class 1A State Tournament, where he finished tied for 24th out of 110 golfers!
Drake represented LVC Golf and the Cuba community with pride, determination, and sportsmanship on one of Illinois’ biggest stages in high school golf.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Mrs. Scharping, principal of Cuba Elementary School, Mrs. Nelson, Principal of Cuba Middle/High School, and Mr. Brenner, Assistant Principal of Cuba Middle/High School, leading our schools with excellence and heart.
