The Cuba High School staff has selected Layla Giles as the March Senior of the Month. For this honor, she received a fifty dollar gift card from program sponsor MidAmerica National Bank.
Giles is the daughter of Jim and Elena McRaven of Cuba, Illinois. During high school, she has been involved in FFA, cheerleading, and track. After high school, she plans to attend Spoon River College and then transfer to Western Illinois University to become a child psychologist.
Seniors of the Month are selected for their academic performance as well as their leadership and citizenship qualities.
