The Cuba High School staff has selected Samantha Thum as the September Senior of the Month. For this honor, she received a fifty dollar gift card from program sponsor MidAmerica National Bank.
Thum is the daughter of Garrett and Karen Thum of Smithfield, Illinois. During high school, she has been involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, track, dance, Student Council, FCCLA, Art Club, History Club, and National Honor Society. After high school, she plans to attend a university and major in engineering. Following college, she wants to return to her hometown as a philanthropist.
