The Cuba High School Student Council is attempting to raise money toward the purchase of a digital sign for the school. This project comes with a hefty price tag, however. With the help of some local businesses, the group is on its way to its goal.
Pictured above is John Davis, along with Kylie Davis-Crouse, of Davis GMC and Davis Ford who made a sizeable donation of $500 to help the Student Council in its endeavor. This donation places Davis’ dealerships on the list of bronze-level sponsors, and the business’ name will be placed on a sponsor board that will be placed in the school’s gymnasium in the future.
Other donations have been made by Fulton FS in Lewistown, Illinois and MidAmerica National Bank from Canton, Illinois.
The CHS Student Council still has a long way to go before reaching its goal, however, and will be organizing fundraisers in the future. Any donations are also appreciated. To make a donation, please contact Student Council Sponsors Mae Fitch and LeAnn Postin at (309) 785-7122.
